Earthfest Music Summit

The Music Climate Pact and its signatories and supporters had a big presence at EarthFest’s Music Industry Day, which explored the music industry's role in building a greener future. Earthfest is a pioneering, four-day, B2B and B2C, non-profit sustainability and climate-focused event uniting industries, communities, and thought leaders to drive meaningful environmental action.
Through insightful discussions, immersive activations, and cross-industry collaboration, Earthfest fosters real-world solutions for a greener planet. It takes place annually in Kings Cross, and this year the Music Summit was hosted by Sony Music UK.
The event saw the most progressive sustainability leaders in the music industry come together for a full-day programme dedicated to tackling the climate crisis and driving real change . Hosted by journalist and climate advocate Greg Cochrane, the summit opened with an exclusive fireside chat featuring legendary Police drummer Stewart Copeland. The line up included Madame Gandhi and Philip Selway (Radiohead), representing EarthPercent, along with Roxy for the Music Climate Pact and experts from Music Declares Emergency, Julie’s Bicycle, Murmur, Greening Of Streaming, Sony Music, Universal, Warner Music, Ninja Tune, Warp and more. Also present were Ecotricity founder, Dale Vince, and Claire O’Neill of A Greener Future.
